Saint Thomas, the Apostle; is our model when it comes to learning about our faith. He reminds us that in our relationship with the Lord we are not called just to be content with knowing him from what others say about him. Learning our faith is not just about acquiring knowledge from others. It is about gaining an experience and a language that allows us to read and live our life as a constant journey with God, who guides us in love. We are called to know Jesus, in a personal and intimate way. In such a way, that we can truly call Him, MY Lord and MY God.

In what ways, throughout my life, have I encountered Jesus in an intimate way? Do I long for a closer relationship with the Lord seeking to grow in knowledge of my faith, my life of prayer, my closeness to Him through the Sacraments and service to the poor?
